Not Carvers fault

A lot of the time it's the managers fault.... Or so "they" say.

I personally don't think that's the case with Newcastle as an opposition fan.

I think the problem lies in several areas including transfer dealings and policies, the board and Mike Ashley and also the players themselves.

A lot of big egos there that just aren't willing to do it, I feel sorry for the ones that care and I feel that there are a few that couldn't give a... Well.

I just feel sorry for Carver, because at the moment he is looking like a disaster and I don't think it's his fault.

It is not all his fault, but he is clearly a crap manager. Should never have been given the job.
He is giving Terry Connor a run for the worst ever managerial appointment in PL history.

Utterly awful

He should of shown some bottle and simply played the youngsters when the first team decided to down tools!

The idea that he can't set the team up to at least win a point against some of the teams they have been playing is pathetic. Clearly out of his depth

He's worse than Connor.

Wolves were struggling when Connor got the job. Newcastle were safe.

To turn "safe" into "relegation" isnt easy....!

Its not his fault but he's certainly not helping.

Besides the obvious mike ashley problems the main issue is they sign a ton of unheard of foreign imports (except their best signing - colback) who only see Newcastle as a stepping stone so thwy turn it on against the big teams when the cameras are rolling or when they need to avoid being relegated to put themselves in the shop window. Otherwise they don't care.

I think newcastle will, as usual, do just enough to stay up

It's the fans fault for forcing Pardew out. Hopefully Newcastle go down, comedy club.

A lack of passion is the go-to excuse for an inept tactician. You can't get stuck in if your tactics and preparation don't compliment that style of play. I feel sorry for Carver, because he clearly isn't up to it and shouldn't have been given the job. He's just passing the buck though.

This team played without any real energy, passion or purpose against Leicester. An embarrassing performance for their many fans who travelled to the game.

Allllll the players, very very rarely do PL team lose 8 games in a row, no matter how terrible the manager

Scyther,
Right on the money comment. Watched the Carver post-game interview and found his candid comments very refreshing. He seems like a very decent guy, but I'm sure he stepped upon some tender player egos.
