Scary they polled more votes than SNP and the liberals put together.
SNP 56 seats against their 1? Bit of a conundrum for those that favour the proportional representation system.

I think last night was a very good one for Farage, in spite of losing his seat.

I heard a history prof on the radio the other day, saying that, from a historical perspective, he thought that our determination to play the blame-game is sleep-walking us towards huge constitutional change, and based on last night, I think he may be right.

He thought we were likely to end up with a dissolved union and an exit from the EU, and given that the Tories’ back-bench Eurosceptics now hold the balance of power, and will be hugely encouraged by the surge in the UKIP vote, that’s now looking more likely.

They caused mayhem to John Major, when he was trying to govern with a small majority, and they’ll be loooking forward to doing it again. Little England, taking on the world.

Drove my daughter to school this morning, and she met up with a Portuguese classmate, who’s absolutely
sh.!tting herself , as she thinks there is a growing anti-immigration consensus.Poor little girl was asking me if I thought her family would be sent home.

My kids are pooing themselves wondering if they will ever be able to get a job and somewhere to live Wessie. Sad all round.
