Rotation

Interesting comment by Uwe. Said he likes his teams to
play a German style (good by me) that requires high levels
of fitness. Which in turn requires squad rotation.

That screams of a conversation with MC over NR's lack of
rotation. Whether the squad was good, bad, or a waste of
money, we never really got to see much of it.

NR decided they weren't good enough for the first team
based on training ground sessions. Seems to me at least
that was the final nail for Neil. Or was it not being at the
dinner for MC that Neil wasn't invited to?

batty, do you know what the coach's instructions were to him?

I agree with LST's point, did NR even know about the minimum playing time for Monte?

Morison scored two goals JLA in all that time....?

You think that vindicates keeping playing him do you, particularly at the ned

I personally think Morison was a Ned

I'm glad Morison was given a chance because of his overall work for the team.

Oh, there's why he didn't play Antenucci!..

I thought it was because fans wanted him to play him and he chose not to!..

Ain't we lucky it came out that Antenucci had a clause that said when he scores so many it would start a contract extension!..

Now we know Redder's didn't want to play his top scorer because he didn't want to upset the bloke upstairs and start a contract in motion that was signed by the bloke that new full well he didn't want to honor it!..

I am happy he was given a chance, don't get me wrong, but if a man who scores 19 goals before January is a Donkey, someone who scores twice in a whole season, and them right at the end, can be regarded as a Neddy (I think it's more a slur on the Neddy's!!)

That's nearly as good as "er, we know he can score goals, but you haven't to play him,if you play him it could lead up to him winning a new improved contract!"..

Now we wouldn't want anyone thinking that just maybe we could be letting a good goal scorer pass through our ranks would we?..
