How will that affect MCs view on Beckford, or for that matter the regulars on here (myself included) that said 'No' to him returning?
Maybe he can do a job.
When asked if he will be wearing a Preston shirt next season, he replied: "I tell you what I am going to do, I'm going to go and celebrate with my team-mates as I haven't had the chance yet."
Hmmmm
Beckford hat trick

Wingers and Beckford and Morison could well work

Germany....like castro says we already morison to do the donkey work already...besides I think his very presence would be enough to shake a few defences...

I still don't think he'd have the impact that people think, he hasn't done to much with Leicester who are a team to be reckoned with, and he's been loaned out to a division lower!..
I think Grayson is one for him, he seems to do not bad with him around, and like I said, I cant see Cellino going for him!..

I said this on a thread recently "Bolton release Beckford" by Ellando 15.05.2015
Hasn't Mr Beckford scored double the goals for Preston since being on loan with a manager he likes than he did at Bolton in roughly double the games...?
The manager Simon Grayson
And now a hat trick at Wembley
Under Simon Grayson
I personally think he'll stay at Preston. He obviously likes Simon Grayson.
Here's another quote from the same thread by our resident "Expert"
"Loved him when he was with us but he isn't the answer, and anyone who thinks we should sign him, well frankly, no fook all about football"
Bless him

Sorry don't want Beckford back.

Best for him to stay with SG, best for Leeds to look elsewhere.
Would be intriguing if he did return.

Beckford on a free, in ADDITION to another proven goal scorer i'd be happy with. As part of a squad he'd be a good addition.
But the Beckford who played for us was temperamental. Just how well would he play for us, if only getting occasional starts? He did well for us as he was generally the 1st name on the team sheet. I'd not want him like that for us, coz in this league I don't think he'd be good enough to get us enough goals.
As part of a squad he'd possibly be okay - but i'd be seriously worried about his reliability.

Agree 100%, Sheldon! He was way too temperamental and I suspect he has not changed. Cannot see him and Rosler combining well.

The thing about Beckford is that he scores goals when it matters. On the big occasions, or in the games where the team is playing badly and don't deserve a goal. It's a quality we have lost since he left us.
If he has any sense he will realise that Grayson is the best manager for him and he's got as good a chance of getting into the Premiership with Preston as he does with us...Oh God, where are the anti-depressants
