Ospina not good enough

Our keeping options aren't bad IMO, they're not a priority - but Cech becoming available gives us a perfect opportunity to be covered with a WC keeper for years, which is an opportunity we have to grab with both hands if we have real aspirations of becoming the best team in the country.

I think it'll be good for Szcz too in all honesty - seeing Cech will make him realise how far he has to go and we can loan him out and allow him to developed at another PL club where he won't be under the spotlight quite so much and come back in a couple of years ready to compete with Cech and finish his training under him.

I honestly think its a win win and whilst its not a priority I think if we ignore the opportunity while its there, it'll be an indication of our real ambition

While I agree with all of that, it must be understood, and you stated it in your first line, that it isn't a priority.

It would be amazing if for once we actually signed the required players to be title favourites (Cech, Varane, Kongdogbia & Cavani)

Even though Cech is "available", I would be surprised with this transfer. One because Wenger has played it down, and two because Mourinho would never comply (if the past is anything to go by)

In my view we should go for Cech only if Szez leaves Arsenal. We are not desperate.

I don't think Mou will have much say in it, Cech will be allowed to go where he wants.

I just think Wenger won't want to ruin Szcz's development so won't go for it, when realistically I think he's still so young he'd benefit from some games under less scrutiny and any chance to learn from Cech.

Basically I think it'll be a pretty cheap deal that'll benefit us long and short term, but it isn't a priority and I won't be surprised if it doesn't happen although I would be disappointed

Sir Chesney is a clown. I can't believe people are seriously suggesting keeping him as our number 1.

As for Cech. He'd be a dream signing. But won't happen. One with Mourinho being a 'insert insult'. Two Wenger most likely not even being interested.

Ospina has had it easy so far.

It was Woj who's had it easy and who hardly has ever been questioned even though I suspect he never got his save% over 70 over the course of a number of seasons. Ospina's over 80.

Shez had several chances, why should he get back in? Ospina has been solid, made about 3 or 4 mistakes since January. Not great, but much much better than that show Shez put on at Southampton.

Still find it funny how Sir Chesney drank from that water bottle. So embarrassing.

I think most people know that Ospina is not good enough - he's a decent back-up but that's about it.

I think Szczesny has had enough chances now and I was a supporter of him - but he's shown no sign of improving in maturity and we cannot hope any longer - we need a new goalkeeper.
