Santi Cazorla is top class

7 goals and 11 assists from him in the PL this season, and that is playing in a supposedly unfamiliar deep lying role for him, too.

Only Ki Sung Yeung has scored more goals from that position this season and only Cesc Fabregas has more assists than him.

Against Sunderland he completed the more passes than any other player has in a match this season and throughout the season he has had the best passing stats of any of our midfielders/attackers and is our top creator along with Alexis Sanchez.

Despite all this, people seem to want him dropped from the team (some even want him sold) and I just don't understand why. He has pretty much filled in for Arteta in his absence not only seemingly, but has been a massive improvement on Arteta, too. If anyone should be sold/released then it has to be Arteta for me. I really do like him, but when you consider his age, injury problems and the fact we only have 25 man quota allowed in our PL squad then I can't see any reason in keeping on to him.

As long as Santi is playing as well as he is playing then we keep him in the starting XI, simple as that. For the sake of team balance, one of Ramsey or Ozil will have to drop out when Chamberlain is back from injury.

Cazorla has been nothing short of terrific this season. When he's playing well, the morons here don't say anything, soon as he has a dip, they are on to him.

I still think Arteta may have something to offer as long as he's used only as a squad player like Rosicky or Flamini.

I don't think Wenger will sell Cazorla, but if Atletico do offer a good sum, it maybe too tempting given his age. Personally would hold onto him. You can never have too much quality.

Hardly any of those goals have come from that deep position only played there 3 months calm down.

Also how many of his goals haven't been penalties.

Anyway good little player hope he stays but he shouldn't be starting regularly next season unless it's at CAM.

Big seasons needed from Jack and Rambo in the same team finally

Santi is top class however I would not begrudge him if he left for his last big pay check.

Since Cazorla has the highest number of assists (27) of any player in the Premier League since his arrival.

He may have 7 goals but I'm sure 6 are pens.

Top footballer, just not what we need. Doesn't contribute much, and is a tad overrated.

Still the best number 10 we have, unfortunately age is catching up.
