Interestingly Mesut Ozil also has a combined total of 9 PL goals and assists last season.

Thats just the tale of 9 touches of the football. Its his overall game thats been poor. Not to mention gifting the opposition goals on a few occasions.
You might then say Kane's 31 goal tally only tells the story of 31 touches, but his overall play has also been good - Lamela has been poor.
Obvious goal choice for this award and what a goal it was. Probably the goal of the decade....
