Cracking article done on Kieran and his gym (not by me) For anyone that doesn't know the story it's tragic and heartwarming at the same time.

Enjoyed reading that
£2.50 per session is too cheap
At least put it to £4 a session
I suppose the price is cheap to get people through the door
Would be nice to see a world title contender to come through that gym

£5 per session seems fair and yeah it won't be about making money for some but sounds like Kieran needs to make a bit more to keep afloat, it would help him make the gym better and help him with his outgoings at the same time
It takes a lot of heart to get in a boxing ring and face an opponent
You then hear people who don't know about the sport calling boxers p_ssys
Get in the ring for just one minute and then tell me the same thing
I've done it and i was bricking it!
It's nice to see he wants to pass on what he has learnt to youngsters
Safety for the boxer is always the most important thing

It's not about the money fella's, its about getting the kids through the door and getting them started. £2.50 is cheap enough to get the kids through the doors and hopefully they'll catch the bug and stay on. My 2 go and love it (I help out sometimes too Kierans a great guy and a good coach, I wrote about the session a while back (kids and boxing round 1 on v2boxing)

I agree Derby
I was merely saying I hope its enough to keep the gym going so the kids can enjoy it
He's doing the right thing and I think it's great you're helping out
I've just become coach of an under 13s football team that was going into non existence
Couldn't bare the thought of the kids hearts being broken and their little team splitting up
It's reward enough seeing them doing something they love with a smile on their face

It's doing okay, in fact it's getting busier and busier. He's just got his managers license as well and had a few of the younger lads in the box cup.
I always say now that if you get the opportunity to help out then it's a good thing to do. The kids (and parents) really appreciate it and if it makes a difference to just one of the kids then it's a job well done.

Awesome stuff
Love to see some good boxers come out of there
It's a great story
Yeah, you're right i got the feeling the parents were really happy to see someone that would take time out to teach their kids
