Think bushwacker has got annoyed i said there are stronger teams than them.
Not annoyed at all, you're entitled to your opinion and I just stated I don't agree
I think you'll struggle to find anyone to agree that Fulham are better than Derby on paper
You're basing your opinions on the fact we were crap at ER, thats one game and we have 46 in a season

Derby are over inflating how good the actually are. If they were better than the league they would not have choked 2 years running.
Better teams in this division than Derby. Sorry.

No i wasn't basing my opionon on the fact we beat you at ER, that was making a point to the OP.
Fulham massivley underacheived with a very good squad, one full of players with years of PL experience and added to by players like McCormack who scored 30 the previous year.
There are stronger squads this year (technically) than last with Hull, QPR and Burney added to the ones who underacheived last year, still with very good players.
I also not second guessing who might do well, but going on squad strength, i wouldn't put Derby at the top.

It makes me cringe watching it.

There's a lot to be said for the team ethic of a squad and, sadly, ours was found wanting due to (as we're discovering anecdotally) the divisive management technique of McClaren in the latter stages of his tenure.
What we DO know is that we're technically at least a match for every side in this division and, if Clement can foster a squad harmony, then we'll be there or thereabouts come May. We've been promoted before with the weighting all on 'greater than the sum of it's parts' rather than actual individual abilities and it was not a pleasant experience; we need good players, not just a good team, and I think that's what is being assembled here.
Time will tell.
