Genuine question to you red men. Does anyone else think he's worth a Punt? He scored 14 goals last season for WBA and is only 20 years old with bags of ability, and potential to be one of the top strikers in this country. Obviously, the fee will be inflated because he's English but don't you think he'll be better suited to our system and thrive more than Benteke. Put it this way, I'd rather we invested 20/25m on him than 25-30m on Benteke. He has the potential to work in a high press game as he has the mobility aswell as pace. He's not just all pace though, he is great on the ball aswell as off it, which is important. Not only does he have pace in abundance, he has flair, composure, tenacity, good finishing, and great feet. Him and Sturridge have mostly similar attributes, so this suggests hed do well here. He'll have both Firmino and Coutinho supplying him, and a great partner in Sturridge. It would also be good for England.
What do you guys think? I'd personally pay 25m if it meant signing him, I just think he'll do really well and won't be dross that we have bought in the past.
I know he has the same agent as sterling, but I genuinely think he'd get rid of him if it meant coming to us. It would be a dream move for him surely and would be stupid to let an idiot agent get in the way.

He's worth 30mil to Wes brom but 15mil to everyone one else.
He must prove himself for another year and he'll get a move to a bigger club for 10mil with one year left on his contract.

The answer to whether or not he is worth a punt is yes, he's got talent. £25M? Dream on. While the potential is there, that's just what it and he is, potential.
Next question, his agent. End of conversation. I will go as far as to say that, while he retains the services of that agent, his chances of gaining entry to a top, or top top club are zero.
If Saido, who must have seen what's been happening between Raheem and our club, and the ways it's been handled by his top top agent, reckons they same guy will promote his future, then Saido needs help. Psychiatric help.

But he will also have a years option in there in our favour (our chairman makes everyone have one) so it's going to be 3 years and as I said he'll sign a new deal, he gets on very well with Pulis and he'll want the extra £20/30k a week.
He'll move next year I reckon and we'll charge a premium for him. That's how I see it panning out, he knows he needs another season at least where he can be the main man and grow into his potential.

He's a young player who believes he's already made it
A lot more to do, to prove he's worth a top club coming in for
Smacks of the too much too young hype nonsense that seems to surround England's young players. The truth is many never live up to it
As for Benteke, why you'd spend that much money on someone who isn't yet fully proven I don't know. Based on how BR has been telling us he wants to play the game over the last 3 years he now see's Benteke as the answer? He doesn't seem to know what the question is! 2 good months in a season is enough is it?
Are we going to ask Philippe and Firmino to start lumping the ball forward quickly? Will we sell Sturridge?
