@ChatLUFC: Cheeky rumour from a hot hot sauce - Chris Wood has signed for £3m #InCellinoWeTrust #MOT
Lots of rumours on various pages today.
Question is he worth £3m? Age on his side like Erwin
Is a positive. Young and hungry and like most of you
I'm sick of journeymen.

Woods looked really good when he played in the championship for the foxes but he has done nothing since so even at £2m its a gamble but if he strikes a big ridge of form it will be money well spent
I have got to agree sorry Mattyp but I think Redders hoped he would be offered some managerial job hence is reluctance to commit himself back to the academy
I hope things work out for him but perhaps another coaching role will be is only hope

75 career goals at 23. Nuff said. He s proven in this division, thats all we need

To be fair Shaun M, Billy Sharp at 28 (at the time) last summer was proven in the Championship with a decent goals record over his career, but wasn't mightily impressed with him last season.

SKB
5 in 33 for Leeds...!
Nowhere near good enough.

So at 23, a better bet than Sharp at 28?
I haven't studied the stats to know sharps strike success rate but it is well documented that the strikers did not get much service last season.

"One thing Redders was good at, and that is using the fans to get them onside and blow Redders trumpet for him, which seemed to have backfired."
Surely that couldn't be the trumpet that sounded the rallying call to the team that were put there by him to fight our survival battle which wasn't helped much by a absent "Chairman" that seemed to be blaming everything but himself for things around the playing staff?..
Now, I wonder, if it hadn't been leaked that the club didn't want Redder's top scorer to play, nah, a better one!..
If the club had let Redder's play his top scorer, I wonder could things have been a little better?..
But we could also ask, if Redder's nr2 had been left in place, would we have finished as bad as we did?..
Diabolical load off crap when people blame a bod who's job was being undermined for the biggest part off the season!..
Nope sorry I lie!..
Undermined when he hit the safety mark!..
A melon is a melon, but hey, names can be pointed at anyone!..
Here's hoping Rosler has the backing off Pearson, because it could be argued he's going to need it!.

Can't see the wood for the trees with this one. It's a hoax. Take it from me. My mate knows Woods' family here in NZ, and we are not on hia radar, officially.

He could still go to Leeds if the Wolves deal falls through.

Looks pretty good to me especially if Popey says so so you can tell your mate in NZ that he could be in for a surprise

Yes Popey was right
