Hernán Feler, reportedly the guy who first broke Alexis to Arsenal days Vidal to Arsenal is done on a 5 year contract. Value is said to be £23mill.
It's kind of out of nowhere, his name has been thrown around but not nearly as much as Schneirderlin, who looks certain to join utd. Arsenal are known to keep deals quiet so in that sense it could be real. But it just sounds too good to be true.
To my knowledge Vidal is more like Ramsey, but can he play in Coq's position?

Any fellow Arsenal fan turning their nose up at Vidal should ask how they would feel if we turned him down and he went to spurs. You would hate it. He can only strengthen us in his playing position. Remember we didn't need Ozil because we had other players in his position, wouldn't dream of selling him now would you?

A cracking player but stupid if we got him. We need a no frills simple hard man defensive midfielder who mops up and passes to our more technically gifted players. Keep it simple, keep it strong. Wanyama would be a good shout.

Some absolute cluelessness about Vidal.
Technically he is very good for a MF destroyer. That's why Juve have instructed him to be their most attacking midfielder at times. Because he can.
Of course we are not getting him, and certainly not for 20+M. Juve would never even considerate accepting a bid of such amount.
