Who's the vuvuzela of punditry!
The guy you want to turn the volume down for?

I really hate when anyone other than Schmeicel or Freidel analyse keepers conceding
all they usually say is 'you should never get beat near post' or ramble about how they should have done better with a shot swerving away to the corner.
then they praise a 'save' as world class when it's shoulder height 4 feet to either side when all that is is mothers milk to a keeper

Yeah I like the individual player duels/tactical battles.
I like seeing other angles on goals to see who had fecked up, but don't overdo it man.
One thing that really frustrates is, when they're showing post-match evaluations, they start showing you more aerial views of the pitch; higher vantage point, akin to something you'd see on a computer game. This way you can see a whole half and pretty much every player in it. You can see more runs from strikers, defenders positions and other people not involved around the ball.
Use that angle through the match as well for ffs!!!

I do the same with MOTD, I don't want to sit through the punditry at 10:30-11pm, I just want to see the goals and get the reaction of the players and managers after the game.
I think MOTD would improve so much if they just had a presenter (don't care who) linking the segments, show extended highlights, the reaction, then the next game.

Tyldesley
My word, he is by far the most biased Commentator there is!!! He creams his pants every time a Man Utd player touches the ball, and if Utd are not even playing he's always adding references into the game.
He could be doing an Everton match and would say "Wayne Rooney began his career with the Toffees, ya know?"
This^^^^^ that is so true and why I can't stand listening to him.

You only have to watch the umpteen cliched post match interviews to see why pundits are so banal. They are conditioned little robots, and whoever picks them for TV obviously have a penchant for the soundbite rather than any sort of depth.
Alan Smith. I mean, really?. His wife probably nodded off while he was speaking his vows.

I don't mind Savage. He may talk shíte, but at least it's interesting shíte rather than it be boring.
They should get people in who were never shy of trouble in their playing days. Ones who arent scared to criticise their former clubs or teammates. Joey Barton would be a prime candidate.

Bruce and Pally
Exactly man. I would then be able to happily watch without tippy-tapping fast forward every 6 minutes or so.
HRH. - yeah Barton would be classic. Him and Neville would be good I reckon. Can see a few clashes with them two

Yep agree.
Too many pundits out there have friends in football who they're afraid of upsetting, hence why they dont speak their mind. Roy Keane is ok though, he has no friends anywhere so as a result, comes out with some outrageous sht

Pat Nevin is very biased towards us. In fact he rarely seems to comment/get asked about on anything other than Chelsea related topics within English football. Obviously i dont give a feck about Scottish football and i assume the majority of his punditry/commentating is on that
