Isnt it telling that Petr did not care to mention the vile Portuguese bus driver (interpreter) in his farewell letter to the Chelsea establishment
Twice his manager but scorned for the prat his is.

Do you honestly believe AW turned down the opportunity of signing a world class talent like Alonso as he wanted to retain Denilson (the player he was quoted as not wanting to kill)??
I suggest in future not to believe everything football clubs put in the public domain, as sometimes they tell porkies.

You accept nearly everything AW and the board (especially at an AGM) put in the public domain is well publicised.
It therefore would be entirely inconceivable for AFC to advertise the fact that their ability to compete financially had been impaired. It would have been a commercial PR disaster.
Anyway, have to go, enjoyed the debate

Inter had a far smaller wage budget than Arsenal and a lot of the players were already there when he arrived.
-------
because he didn't have huge resources at Inter which saw him bring 10 players in his first season.
With the downfall of other Italian clubs he had it easy and scrambled his way to CL success playing extremely negative football
Jose is a rich mans Pulis and I don't find the way he cheats, complains and defends his way to trophies considering the financial strength hes worked with
Wenger is a much better manager than Jose considering he's been man enough to face transitions, has developed players into superstars and had us competing at the highest level when we initially had no right to.
We'll only appreciate that when it's all said and done and I'm not even Wenger's biggest fan most on here sill confess to that but Jose is overrated and cowardly

Unsure why you refer back to this point, as I understood this was addressed yesterday.
In that JM was afforded more money than any other Inter manager in history. His transfer policy was atrocious, abandoning Inter’s youth set up, (which appears to be a trait). When he left for Madrid he left their aging squad in a mess, with next to no money left to strengthen.
All very well for short term gain (i.e. they won the CL) but it took years of rebuilding work to ensure the club became competitive again.

His job isn't to ensure that Inter are ok for the 10 years after he leaves. That is the job of the owners.

Brilliant comment.
How many years did SAF plan ahead for Utd when he stepped down a few years back?

And that is exactly the point I (and others) made yesterday.
Short term gain, (irrespective of the consequences) or long term stability. JM cares not for the future of a club (Chelsea may be an exception).
This is also evidenced from his reluctance on exploiting and developing youth throughout his career.
