Benik Afobe

I know that there has been some criticism of Kenny's player buying prowess and admittedly some of the players he has brought in, both as loans and purchases, have ranged between disappointing and total flops. However I think he has really struck gold with Benik Afobe.
As a natural goalscorer I think he is the best I have seen since Bully. His goal tally last season was very impressive albeit not all in the Championship but there is also an argument that he will benefit from being settled in one team rather than being shifted about on one loan spell after another.
I fully expect him to score 20+ for us this season and hopefully Dicko won't be far behind him.

Did Wenger make a huge mistake selling him? I think he did and an interesting blog I just came across agrees. OK it's only one Arsenal fan's opinion but this Wolve's fan thinks he's right:

And how did sako receive the ball?
Another of our players doing his job perhaps?

My reconciliation cinci is that another Wolves player passed the ball to him. Now perhaps you can explain to me the point you are trying to make
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The point being you are suggesting some just see the assist, whereas you just saw a sako run.

Swings and roundabouts, everyone on the pitch is involved one way or another, if sako isn't crossing the ball someone else will be.

It is his goals that will be the harder part to replace, but if he midfielders step up then that shouldn't be too difficult to compensate for.

Rvlp, Wallace, Henry should be expected to weigh in with 10-15 this coming season and that is before any other additions.

I see Arsenal have loaned one of their rising stars, a midfielder with Champions League experience, to Mick for a season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Will have more expendable cash than they even did last season.

We couldn't compete with them on wages for three loanees last year

Welcome to the debate Butey. Great input.

I'm just hoping they don't finish above us for a 4th season running. In my view we're a bigger club than Ipswich.

I thought so. Observationally accurate, as many have pointed out.

Weird concern to have!?!?

I just hope we finish ahead of 18 other clubs, preferably 22 other clubs.

Winning it again outright would be perfect.

The point being you are suggesting some just see the assist, whereas you just saw a sako run.

What on earth are you talking about cinci. I have described the entire move but you are saying all I saw was the Sako run. I remain undecided whether you are just argumentative or thick.

And your second sentence makes me edge towards the second

Swings and roundabouts, everyone on the pitch is involved one way or another, if sako isn't crossing the ball someone else will be.

So you are under the impression that every player has exactly the same ability. That if Afobe doesn't score someone else will. If Stearman isn't tackling a player someone else will. If McDonald isn't passing the ball someone else will. So I guess any stats you use are complete rubbish cause if one player didn't have those stats someone else would

And you wonder why I have the view you talk utter garbage

You didn't describe the entire move, you basically said ignore RVLPs balls up but remember Sakos run and cross.

But yet you tell us that looking at assists means nothing, whilst highlighting sakos part in a goal.

Kmac laid on about 4 of Afobes goals with brilliant through balls, but yet you would have us believe it is Sako we would miss massively but not Kmac for example, for me i don't think anything is definitive, Sako is a good player but he is a long long way from irreplaceable.

As usual you are making things up to create an argument.

Please copy and paste the bit where I said ignore RVLPs balls up

Please copy and paste where I have said assists mean nothing

Please copy and paste the posts where I or anyone else has said Sako is irreplaceable
