Leicester City's owners

they should be ashamed what is the justification in sacking a manager who led his team to 14th in the table in their first season back into the epl??

Nothing could be further from the truth about NP mick. He didn't suffer fools at all, and you seen how the players rallied around him by winning 7 out of their last 9games. He will be missed.

Dont think people have the full picture .... did we think he was strange or not that easy to get on with. He didnt have too many spats really with his own players. He won two championships and also kept them up, for me he surpasses that little known MON a lot of Leicester fans would agree with that, maybe he hasnt surpassed MON in terms or reputation but he is right up there with him as being their most succesful modern era manager EASILY. He won the championship in his first stint and again on his second stint i think in the championship he has the highest win percentage of any manager EVER in their history. He may not have got on with others outside his club but the things he did for his club have been nothing short amazing. He is certainly a contender for being one of Leicesters greatest ever managers of all time. He should still be there in my eyes.

MON won 2 league cups with them so comparable but neither of those two cups secured the team anywer near as much financially as the two league championship wins (I always take a league win as more important than any domestic cup win). Im pretty sure his first title he wasnt massively backed financially and in todays market most of the championship teams are fairly wealthy now and that certainly doesnt gurantee you anything (otherwise Mr Mourinho wouldnt be considered one the of the greatest ever coaches in the game) And to counter that point there were one of the lowest spenders in the prem i reckon but stayed up.

Personally if I were a Leicester fan id take two league wins over the league cup anyday and to out into our perspective as a gers man Id have taken winning the championship over the league cup without doubt

ps the season he won the championship he spent 450k on players. First season up in prem he spent a total 20m with two players taking up the majority of that budget (ulloa 9m & Kramaric 8m) not bankrolled at all id say for a comparison QPR spent 10.5m to in season they got promoted and 41m in first year of prem
