Would you want anyone with that hairstyle playing for Leeds...?
Would this boy tick a few boxes....?
Will Massimo Cellino step up to the plate...?
Can he trap a ball...?
It couldn't happen, could it...?..

He looks brilliant in the air and hair 700k is way less than the last reported price of 3 million though. Apparently We've offered him more than Torino did. Sidwell would be an ok signing, we coulda signed him 2/3 years ago but that's us all over. Better than Barton imo

I think the 4 linked players would conclude our business.
1. Murphy
2. Barker
3. Sidwell
4. Thor
Could have a decent midfield with those additions, with Wood up top and Bamba at the back, who know's where we'd finish, definitely in the top 23

re the hairstyle, my favourite Becchio had a similar one when he arrived at LUFC and I thought he did great for us!

Not overly happy no.
Seems Thor really is a central midfielder and whilst i am all for improving the squad we have far more pressing areas to fill. Still missing gk cover, left back cover and still have no wingers. If Thor is a defensive anchor man then has some merit but he bagged 1 every 3 games last season so given his "can play left midfeld" also would appear hes more attacking.
Sidwell has been a good footballer but at 32 hes only going one way? Started only 6 games for Stoke last season. Not a ball winner and would take Murphys place.
Remember still have Sloth & Bianchi in the background.
For me wingers the key, yet we dont seem to be linked with them.

I'd prefer Sidwell to Barton at Leeds Kebablegs if it was a choice of two.
Fully agree we need width and I'd prefer them to spend money getting that. We have been linked with the boy Barker from City and Rosler has suggested that is a position he's trying to fill.
We won't get him but Antonio would have been a cracking acquisition, but I cannot believe there isn't similar out there...? Forest picked him up for £1.5m why can't we find gems like that in the lower leagues or abroad...?
Width is a must.

Absolutely agree Eric. What ever funds are available simply MUST be spent on wingers. We can get a cheap GK and LB cover in for nothing. What would transform this side is pace, good crosses and the ability for the manager to change tactics.
