Who are you most excited about?

So with around 40 days left of the transfer window who so far are you most excited about from your new signings or even from a youth player breaking through for the season ahead?

With us looking like we have finished with our signings, i can honestly say that Clyne is the one i'm most excited to see through out the season. We've been crying out for an established attacking rb since Johnson lost all footballing ability and hopefully now we have the perfect replacement.

I've also got high hopes for Ibe to break through and begin to establish himself as a mainstay in our first eleven.

So who are you most excited to see this season?

Admin any chance of a multi-board?

Bobby Firmino is the one I am excited about. I have a Got_Better type feeling that he is going to be really special.

I get the impression that Firminho may need a season to bed in, so I'm not expecting too much consistency from him.

My real hope is that last years signings, in particular Lovren and Lallana, really step up and justify their fees. That would be really satisfying.

True, and Firmino & Coutinho still can't get into the Brazil XI when everyone's available.

Neither were even called up to the World Cup squad.

They're both very young but have now broken in and are first team Brazilian internationals.

And they did so well as a result!

Of the existing players then I'm interested to see if Ibe can make an impact this year and how Can fares in midfield (there's a dominant midfielder in that lad somewhere). Also looking forward to/hopeful of Sturridge's return to fitness...

New players, looking forward to seeing if Benteke can score goals at a similar rate for us and see if we can add a bit of strength and aggression up top.

Like most people though, I'm most excited about Firmino. Possibly because he's a slight unknown. Or possibly because I'm an absolute sucker for a skillful attacker that can take people on and commit defenders.

It's silly I'm really excited to see James Milner. I think he is going to be the man to orchestrate the midfield and provide that balance. Plus he is going to score us gials we so desperately need from midfield. Him Hendo Can and Couthino playing at home against a team sitting back and parking the bus will be interesting to see if they can work together.
