Sorry to interrupt Gentleman but as a season ticket holder at Goodison just a few points:
1 - He isnt for Sale
2 - you will all owe Elvis a massive apology within the next few seasons as he will be the best defender around bar none and England captain
You would only have to watch him live a few times to understand this but as you dont follow Everton you're not really in a position to say how good he is or will be
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree on his ability, having watched him about 5 or 6 times he looks much more accomplished and reads the game above his age. I cant comment on whether he's captain material or not, only Everton fans can really as it's hard to judge his leadership abilities on the odd game.
I do think he will be leaving though unfortunately for you. Followed by Barkley next season if he holds down his regular place and hits form this year.

In terms of leadership, I think that he is captain material. Even at 20 he was pointing to the other more senior players, telling them where they should be positioned or which players they should be picking. Great to see in a young lad and especially one with such ability.

Everton fans were saying this same stuff about Rodwell and Barkley. I don't trust their judgement.

Lets go on the little bits you've seen then over the views of people who watch him every week

The same people who said Ross Barkley is a £50m player and better than Rooney and that Jack Rodwell is the next Rio.
Watching them every week doesn't mean they are right. They just obviously have a tendency to massively overhype their players.

Yes exactly.

the thing is you wont find one Evertonian that wants to sell him anyway so why should we accept a 20 or 26m bid? - time will tell on how good he is

Yeah true. Think it'll take a bid upwards of £30m for Everton to consider it.

Stones has shown nothing like Rio's quality as a defender
