Agree Eddie seemed slow paced in first half.
Have a feeling things will get dialed up.

Wood aint match fit, his movement was poor. However he did show me he could win balls in the air, and is direct.

Mowatt, whilst slow had good technique and wanted the ball. He seemed to have developed good off the ball skills and showed me he may have a touch of the Lampard in his game this term.

Adeyemi, got in the way and really protected the bk 4. He allowed Mowatt to get forward a lot. Once he is fully match fit, he is going to be a player and a half.

Bamba and Bellusci. One is clumsy but effective, the other is slow but aggressive. No real brains between them.

Berardi, was aggressive Taylor was aiming for that touchline and looked very keen to take his man on. However his marking was bad 2nd half so many times there young left back was left alone in acres.

Duke...seemed to still have that cumbersome first touch and the ball seemed to be animated to bugg.ery when he was in possession. Had to rely on his strength to fend off opponents who closed him down due to this. Cannot see him being a starter.

Everton were never in the game, and you could see they came for the run out. However, we passed it pretty well and actually found a few through balls!!!

Oh and LIW ran onto the pitch and waved his truncheon towards the KOP when we went 2 up.

Over 900 out...............a long way off indeed.

I was only 2,000 out so I'm going to claim that as a result. I could be an accountant.

Thanks for doing the match day thread, as unofficial as it was. In parts it was quite interesting.
