It appears Sky have given up the rights to La Liga and they will be heading to BT after Sky pulled out of the bidding process
Sky refused to up its initial offer for rights it has held for more almost two decades, withdrawing from the bidding process in protest after it went to a second round after offering a considerably higher sum then BT Sports.
So Sky is now the home of PL/SPL & Dutch football only, Terrible considering that SS5 was supposed to be home of european football
I suspect Sky Sports may be doomed once their PL deals runs out.
BT take over La Liga rights from Sky

Match of the day is rubbish. I'm forever waltzing through the punditry at 20x. Especially if it's Alan Shearer.

The only thing I don't like about MOTD is how hi-tech and futuristic the studio is. No need for it. It looks like a Star Trek set.

The Reports of Sky's demise turned out to be a bit premature.

Shame, because 'Skyfall' would be a great headline.
