According to reports on both sides, 19 year old Serbian defender Milos Veljkovic is set to join Leeds on loan. He played at Boro and Charlton last season and plays for Serbia at youth level. Could do with another centre back and he has played at this level before your thoughts?

Spurs defender joining on loan?

Who cares what Cellino is saying and isn't saying, Im more interested in what we're doing on the pitch.
If this lad improves the team, sign him.

When explaining about his development Veljcovic said that if he is playing in the championship he prefers to play as a dm because he dosent think he has the size and the physicalities to play against the big strikers. In the future in the premier league he sees his long term future as a cb where he will be playing against more technical forwards which is suited to his game.

Cellini said we won't sign anyone unless it's loan to permanent.
That's why it makes no sense

This, however Boro wouldn't be complaining had they went up and not resigned Bamford and Vossen. If he is better than what we have, then get him.

Makes no sense. What an odd comment.
Makes perfect sense. Premiership talent.
Sign him up.

Batty why is it an odd comment
When two weeks ago Cellino said we won't be signing any lon players unless there is a permanent clause
And that we won't be training up players who will never be ours
A policy I totally agree with
And you say premiership talent
He's never played there and you've never seen him !!!!
And when have these types loans ever worked for us ???

As Kev said, MC is learning. And I think staying.
So yes, odd comment.
I don't need to have seen him, Spurs fans who have rate him highly.
You said same about Dallas when people got excited even though we weren't that familiar with him. Most went by Brentford fans being upset he left. Well, he looked pretty bloody handy yesterday. So forgive me if I don't put much stock in your own inflated opinion on football matters.

Fully with you on this one.
If we sign a player on loan and he helps us get promoted I am sure there will still be those calling Cellino a liar etc...!!
If the boy improves our lot get him in.

You really need to hammer stuff home to folk on here eh..? Massimo Cellino admitted early doors that he changes his mind regularly. Yet still the faithful to misery continue to harangue him for doing what he says he does...!!!

He only played 4 times for Boro, and just 3 for Charlton ...... not what we need surely. We do need cover in midfield though with Bianchi and Murphy out

Didn't he get injured at Charlton?
