BOLASIE WELCOMES SPURS LINK

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has welcomed speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane in recent weeks, and Spurs have admitted there are in the market for attacking players following the departure of Roberto Soldado to Villarreal.

"I am a loyal guy, but this is a game and a business," Bolasie said. “Opportunities to play for a top club do not swing by every day.

"You would have to look into it to see if it suits you and your family.

"At my age it could be the right time, but it has to be right for the club as well."

Go get him Levy!

why are people shirking at 19m for bolasie but seemingly happy to drop 25 big ones on berahino?

It's not up to me Chronic bud. There could well be a player+cash deal but we also have a 'sell on' fee to BCFC (i forget the % tbh) to bear in mind. You can keep Ade though!

Bolasie is twice the player Townsend is. I don't perticularly think Townsend is a bad player, just that Bolasie flair and power on the wing is similar to Ginola. Not as good end product as Ginola, but all the same a player that gets fans on the edge of their seats. I for one would welcome the move!

I have changed my mind. Just read he is a Gooner. Feck sake.

I agree he is a lot better than Townsend.

Chronic,

chicken you are a mug mate if you think this guy isn't better than townsend.

townsend could only dream of pulling off things in this clip.

===========================

I see Chronic is looking for a slanging match again...

Bolasie may be a better freestyler but their general football ability is more like-for-like. Their stats are similar, their club impact has been similar and their consistency is also very alike (although Townsend edges it ever so slightly).

As I said previously, if we had Bolasie and Townsend played for Palace, you’d be calling everyone a mug who preferred Bolasie over Townsend. Townsend would find it easy to shine for a mid-table club.

Toby,

Again, the stats and team impact tell us very different. If Bolasie was twice the player Townsend was I’d expect his stats to be double Townsend’s, not slightly less.

They are pretty much on par IMO, but Townsend’s attitude seems to be a bit better. I’d stick...
