Waiting for CL qualification to buy players

Having beat Brugge last night we now have the freedom to sign players, at least that's what we were all waiting for.... oh wait

Definitely the board holding us back... oh no you mean to tell me Lord Harris was very vocal about how much we can spend. Surely it isn't Wenger's fault, his hands are tied.

FFP will save us.... wait City are on the verge of spending £150m+

AKBs out of excuses now, only 1 man holding us back and it's the bloke who runs the club from head to toe

Seriously how can you look at what City and Chelsea are doing in the market and be content with the garbage we currently have?

We've needed a new spine for years. We have £200m and only 10 of it has been used on a GK who more or less forced us to sign him.

Having waited this long regardless of who we sign Wenger has let us down, signings would be panic buys as he was clueless enough to think this squad were capable of challenging

He needs to fack off he's clueless, lost, deluded and tactically inept.

Cue pundits and experts throughout the season declaring how we're 'so close but 2 or 3 players short' for the 6th+ year running.... can't wait!

That's why I call you adult babies, because you only have one default setting: negative moaner.

Well you only have one setting: The Ty setting. Are you an "adult baby" now?

What else has your great foresight told us..? fans like yourself were the ones who would say things such as Wenger will never spend money, Wenger will never win another trophy again, Wenger sells players because he enjoys it yet are still stuck on the same record after last few years. That's why I call you adult babies, because you only have one default setting: negative moaner.

I never said my foresight was great so thank you, maybe the records the same because we're still struggling with the same deficiencies we were a few years ago.

The constant moaning is stupid, but can you not admit that suffering from the same problems every season is very tedious? The striker issue has been evident for 3 years, the DM issue for the same if not longer - injuries ruin us every year and have done for about 7 seasons running, plus we're still hesitant in the transfer market.

It's bores me more than anything, things could be a lot worse but we have the potential to be better and way more efficient than we currently are. Another league campaign will pass by and we'll finish 3rd or 4th for the 10th year running. Wowzers, not even gonna talk about the CL.

I wouldn't call it moaning just challenging your point which is what this place is for. Anyway I'm not questioning your right to moan or be an adult baby if you want to.

So when I make a comment about the club its moaning and when you make a comment about me commenting about the club its not? It's pretty hard to argue with that type of blinkered thinking. I'll be your perception of an adult baby if that means I have the right to question the club on a public Arsenal forum. You might also wanna look up the definition of constant moaning because I've hardly posted recently.

Yohan yeah there are some things I find tedious like I would prefer it if we got all our business done early and buy what we need, in a ideal world this would happen but I know the transfer market isn't an ideal world.

The thing is I come at this from a perspective where we have a manager who loves the club and always act in our best interests so I don't worry or stress about every little detail. City, Chelsea United haven't finished their business yet, loads more deals will happen in the next 4 days so it's not just Arsene who waits for no reason? it is what it is so I just accept it instead of getting angry about it every season..

Other fans seem to come at it from another perspective where we have a manager who wants to sabotage our chances and not buy the players we need because he doesn't like winning, that's what I find odd most of all.

And last two years we've spend more than we ever have, broke our old transfer record about 4 or 5 times, won trophies and clearly looking to progress so I don't get why you think it's the same thing every season.

As an outsider to call Wenger inept and clueless beggars believe. He may not be all you want for all time, but what he has achieved should surely tell anyone that he knows far, far, far more about football than the OP will ever know.
And he has done it whilst playing attractive football, overseeing a new stadium, spending less than other top four team, and remaining a gent.
