He's done his time for being a cheat....I guess he should be.

He's been done for being a crim and the ICC have said he's done his time.

There will always be space for talent on a Cricket field and this boy has it in bundles. He's served his time and everyone deserves a shot at redemption.

i also believe in second chances but not in certain situations. For e.g. a doctor who knowingly did medical malpractice should never get a chance if it resulted in serious injury. Likewise, these players who represent their respective Nations, may harm their reputation with their evil actions. However, once they have done their time, they can work in some other profession. Just my 2cents as I would never give chance to players like sreesanth, amir, azhar etc. to represent me and my Nation.

He will do whatever he can to win back the respect of his former colleagues, Mr Butt and Mr Asif?
He needs to win back the trust and respect of cricket fans who paid to watch his chicanery. Not his former colleagues.
I am disappointed that jail cell hasn't made him wiser.

Why is there no debate about Marlon Samuels in the same way as Amir? All 3 have served their punishment and should be allowed to get on with it.

yes he should. once the 'sentence' has been served in full then he has the right to return, if he's good enough for selection.
the debate could be had that punishments for this kind of offence should be harsher, but not that we can retrospectively change the rules to suit. also, as bad as the spot fixing was, IMO it is not quite the same as fixing results or deliberately throwing a game. I'd like to see life bans for anyone found guilty of such an offence.
