Morning fellas.
Just having an early morning debate with the guys at work.
They are Leeds / Everton fans respectively and they have just been banging on about how immense Christian Eriksen is...
I was interested in knowing the player who plays for your team that everyone else rates highly but you just can't seem to get your head around it.
Don't get me wrong, I like Eriksen, I just don't think he is anywhere near as good as people are making him out to be.
Here's my list:
Overrated for my club (Tottenham)
- Eriksen (by opposition supporters)
- Chadli (by our fans)

Mikel- Underrated by own fans yet different coaches has used him
RLC highly overrated yet hasn't done anything of note yet 5min game time can be praise as a man of the match performance

Lloris most certainly is not. Most of the top teams in world football would grab him without a second though was he to go on the market.

all that the above statement means is that he is good, which we all know….
it doesn't have anything to do whether he is overrated or underrated.

Coutinho is absurdly overrated for me. He has good flair and attacking aggression, but he has nothing like the creativity of the top playmakers in the league. And has become quite greedy with his constant shooting from everywhere.

Ozil is laughably overrated by some of our loonier fans, but he's also overly criticized by the opposition. Too many are taken in by some over-the-top criticism when he had a horrid run of form in his first season. I've rarely seen any opposition fan with any good thing to say about him, which often makes his fanboys overcompensate. I'm not his biggest fan, but in truth, he has been our most consistent attacking player since around January/February.
