Last year Cellino made a lot of claims about buying ER back, how it was 100% going to happen before November as the rent goes up in November.
Then we heard that he wasn't going to buy ER back 'to protect the fans' and that this was due to the nature of the relationship with GFH.
He then proudly told us that he had fixed that relationship, the one thing that he had used as an excuse to not buy back ER.
Adam Pearson told us that we were going to buy back ER within a year.
If the only obstacle has gone, then this next month would seem a good time for Cellino to make good on his numerous promises, and buy back ER before any rent increase.
I can't see it happening though and se we get saddled with ever increasing bills.
What has happened with his search for an alternative to TA as well?
Unfortunately, we have 2 priority issues - getting in right on the pitch and securing our future off the pitch, the second one seems to have dropped off the radar, but if we're not careful, we're going to completely lose the chance to own ER again.

Perth, you've come up with your own reasons why, and they weren't facts.
I'm not sure you'd recognise a fact if I gave you one.
The why is actually not that important, the facts are, Cellino has promised a number of times, quoting a number of different funding models to buy back ER.
He has not honoured any of those promises, yet continues to make them.
If you choose to interpret that as a sign that he has taken the club forwards, more fool you.

I doubt anyone outside of MC's circle know the
actual reason(s)/fact(s) why he hasn't bought ER as promised. And he did promise to buy it several times. And that lack of knowledge on our part, has lead to all the speculation and opinion on here and elsewhere.

Batty, he said he had the money to buy it and would go the bank to do it.
Then he said the Ross money was to buy back ER.
Then he said Cagliair sale money was not going to be used for Leeds then promptly u turned and said it would be used to buy ER back to the people of Leeds.
Then he said he was going to get a loan but not from Manchester because he's Leeds, Leeds, Leeds.
etc etc
The man is a complete liar, most people can see it, but it seems that some still think its the rest of the worlds fault, never Cellino's when his lies don't come to fruition.

He said everything you posted (at least I believe he did). Don't dispute that. What he hasn't said yet is 'why' those promises still haven't been delivered. Until he does, we're all just offering opinions on the why. I think that's Perth's issue.

I don't believe you need to be a billionaire to be a good owner. I'm not that bothered that we haven't bought the ground if 'tha clarba' can't afford it at the moment.
But I don't like that it was used to justify selling our best player.
And I'm disappointed that we've missed out on the silent partner. We could have missed out big time.
Sometimes you just need to get the basics right. Just by not being a massive tw*t it would be so much easier to get investment.

I said months ago he has no money!
That's the real reason he's not bought the ground back.
He needs to sell up and move on but his bloody ego won't allow it.
He will take us down this season unless things change soon.
