Coming to London

I am flying through London on Saturday November 21 and Saturday December 12.

On the second date, Leeds are playing Charlton and I would like to attend.

As I expect it will be impossible to go with the traveling Leeds fans, I am interested to know the alternatives.

Any thoughts?

If you want to go legit try and contact some of the local supporters clubs around London. They may have a spare ticket.

Get yourself down to Loftus Rd on the 28th. A ground with atmosphere and a friendly bunch of supporters.

Thanks for the invitation RR. Loftus Road was the first ground I visited in the UK in the 1970s and actually bought a hooped team shirt! (Leeds fans close your eyes).

If you read my OP, you would have seen I am not there on the 28th. ;-(

Thanks High!

Played golf in NY with a Mets and Leeds season ticket fan who will probably invite me to go with him. HIs seat at ER is in the North Stand just above the crossbar behind the goals. My favorite location in any football ground!

Jonny, pretty similar to mine, I'm right at the front just to the side of the goals. Was a fantastic seat when you had Snoddy and Gradel tearing the wings up and cutting inside right in front of me.

I bet it was Pro. The lad I met can be found on FaceBook. His name is James Clark. Since your seats are close, you may recognize him, he is about 6'3."

How long are you stopping over Jonny?

Just 1 full day on either end of an SA trip - Saturday Nov 21 and Saturday Dec 11.

Had a quick glance Jonny and nobody of note pops up, but Facebook does prioritise people with any links to you.

If it was really near to me, mainly the very front row (wheelchair row) I'd probably recognise him. A lot of very dedicated fans around there.
