Out of those who are available, he would be my first choice. He's similar to Rodgers in how he goes about his coaching, his man management etc and he's proven he can develop a team, which is what we need. I wouldn't expect immediate impact but certainly over time he could make a difference.


It's all going to come down to the transfer strategy. Do we stick with the current one of buying young players and develop them or do we realise we have enough of that and need experienced players who the young players can look up to and say this is the place I want to be?

Why do you say 'here's why' like you produced an article with in depth analysis?

The only point you make is that he won two titles 'when Bayern weren't at the same heights as they are now' and even that is a fairly weak point and could be argued considering they were runners up in the CL 11/12 season (the second year in a row Dortmund won the league) and won it in the 12/13 season.

He's been saying all along we have no chance of getting him. He's realised he's wrong, so it's just this now. Sad really.
