Gonna start off by saying I'm Leeds not Chelsea, so forgive me. My brother is a Chelsea lad, but I follow you guys vaguely and take him to a few games.
Anyway.. My question is, whilst this isn't a scenario you're familiar with, is it really a 'crisis'?
Yes, the title defence is in pieces. But, you're only five points behind your nearest realistic top four challengers (Spurs, Everton, Liverpool... ).
You will definitely quality from your CL group.
You haven't played in the FA cup.
You haven't played in the League Cup.
So is it really a crisis? I've seen all but a few of your games this season, and it's baffling to watch. But I personally think it's all being over hyped. You haven't lost to a bad side, yet.
I would be amazed if you didn't finish top four. You'll probably win one of our two domestic cups, and you have the squad and manager to challenge on the European front if form improves.
It isn't a crisis, it's just a damn awful start.
Unless something serious is stirring behind the scenes, you have way too much quality on all fronts to continue like this. Good to see the majority standing by Jose to sort it out, he definitely will given chance.
That's my view looking from the outside in. Will be interesting to hear from a few of you.

I would say it is, almost 1 year of pretty dire football, and not looking to improve anytime soon. People seem to think its only this season but imo our last semi decent performance was against liverpool in the mickey mouse cup. Last season we were lucky to have hazard and our defense performing. This season exactly 0 chelsea players are performing, jose is sticking with the "not untouchables" and the football itself looks very poor. Ok i agree in general the other teams except City seem to be performing badly as well, but even they are able to manage an attack, i would love to know how many of our goals this season have been from open play.......

I am with the OP. If Chelsea had not won the league last season it would be a crisis but coming off a title win I think its greedy to be crying about it so much.

Well said OP, now Leeds are a Club that in recent years know a lot about crisises for a variety of reasons. They remind me of us in the 70's and 80's, a big Club that has fallen on hard times and often seemed to be staring at the abyss.
We got over our nightmares which is why I agree with the OP that this latest "crisis" is nish and not at all comparable to days gone by. Yes I'm disappointed with our start to the season like everybody else but when you put things in perspective, losing a few games at the start of a season, when you won 2 trophies the season before including the Premier League, pales into insignificance against languishing for years in the Second Division and the threat of being kicked out of Stamford Bridge by the property developers and having to ground share with QPR and Fulham.
It just needs a bit of perspective IMO.

Also wanted to say whilst on this board how very decent some of your fans are.
My brother is too young to go to games on his own, as we live around 120ish miles from Stamford Bridge. Even after telling surrounding fans Im only here for that reason, they're very welcoming and hospitable.
It's refreshing to see that the majority, even at clubs given bad publicity like Chelsea and Leeds, are still just genuine fans that go down on a Saturday to back their team.
