Blackburn Rovers 0 - 0 Derby County

As NSR continues her unenforced sabbatical - she's just lazy I think - it falls to me to pen a paragraph or four for the dying tradition which is that of a match thread

Actually that's unfair because like the milkman (the dying bit NOT NSR), it acts a check-up on some of our more distant faithful and makes for good banter.....

Talking of, is anyone concerned about the plight of those on the Dark Side of the 52? Do they still exist? Are they relevant? Is that chap still the owner?

Evening Rev

Derby travel to Blackburn tonight after 3 straight wins and defending an unbeaten record on the road. Expectation is up which is bad for Derby, remember Blackburn have not conceded a goal in their last three games and have won the last two

Hendrick looks to be poorly and has a note from his mum which means a start from Weimann would be tasty but more than likely it would seem Butters will get the nod or get this....Darren Bent has scored six goals in his last six league games against Blackburn.

I should be here to post team news, so as soon as it arrives, I will post it or someone else can, then I will copy and paste. ...

.....and here it is.....

TEAM: Carson, Christie, Keogh, Martin, Russell, Shackell, Johnson, Butterfield, Ince, Thorne, Warnock

Substitutes: Grant, Bent, Baird, Pearce, Weimann, Hanson, Forsyth

"Martin made it at Norwich"

Excluding goals in League One, Martin scored 8 goals in 60 games for Norwich, was loaned out to 4 different clubs and eventually released on a free transfer.

You do the math.

I don't think so Spart, those were just examples of how one club can discard a player and it doesn't necessarily mean they can't be any good. As it happens you are talking nonsense once again. Martin hardly featured at all for Norwich once they got out of League 1, behind the likes of Simeon Jackson, Grant Holt, etc in the pecking order. I don't see how you equate this with "Martin did make it" at Norwich.

There's all these statistical comparison data being aired, and very interesting too. But if my memory from last season serves, Norwich were a bit like Derby at this stage. Nicely placed but not setting the league on fire. And then, after Christmas they just rolled onwards and upwards to win promotion.

I think Derby are doing just the same and will gat automatic promotion.

Iwas, ignore 666. He's just being a tw4t again.
%tackles is how many of the tackles attempted have been won. Basically Butters can't tackle! His stats are worse than Ince.
