I thought the tension was very much a factor on Tuesday and likely to be again today. Just two goals in our last four outings at home, one a deflected own goal and the other a pinball affair originally credited to Beavon, then to own goal before Shane claimed it had touched him last. Hardly a contender for goal of the season!
Games with Port Vale have always been tight (erasing from the memory that awful 7-1!) so not expecting a goal fest today.
More lost finger nails, I suspect, but a 2-1 win to hold off the chasing pack.

The fact of where we are in this league tells me there is not a lot wrong with this team apart from our finishing.
If JFH can work this one out , we will be a very hard to beat. If the goals do come and we score first we will see the game out.
