Burnley 2 Huddersfield Town 1

Burnley V Huddersfield Town

Venue : Turf Moor

Date : 31/10/2015

Kick off : 3pm

Town head over the hill to take on yet another ex Premier League team who are doing decent.

Money taken out of this Town & Burnley are similar sized clubs , yet Burnley will be clear favourites to win this clash.

Form last 6 ( Latest last )

Town W D L D W L

Burnley D L W W D W

Burnley are 3rd whilst Town are 16th.

Iā€™d settle for a point already..

Need some firepower up top, Vaughan you absolute idiot !

Prediction a tight 2-0 defeat.

UTT .... at least we aren't L**ds , we all know when they will get their form back !

Wells and Dempsey changed the game inasmuch as we became faster and more attack minded.

Whitehead had a good game, Carayol didn't look interested, I forgot Huws was playing he was so invisible. As to Miller, I thought the cheers from the Town fans when he was substituted were awful. We know he's not the best but I don't like to see one of our own given so much abuse. I felt so sorry for him. Must be just me though cos no one else seemed bothered.

I think people are entitled to let players know how they feel about them but Miller shouldn't be in this position really because he should never have been bought in the first place. I'd rather have saved the money and looked at youth.

Bojaj must have played about a quarter of an hours football in 4 matches. The young lad might not be quite good enough either but I'd certainly like to start seeing something from the academy for a change. God knows what that costs us per year to run and we barely get anything from it!

Can we have the score up Wethers please? It'll look good, as we just missed out and we could have drawn if we had just five minutes more game time.

I've read CP's post match report and I have also read some fans' comments who went to the match...sorry Mr Powell, I believe the fans, they say Town were sheite and only tried to compete in the very late stages of the match.

CP had no faith or attacking strategy in beating Burnley, so he set the team up to try and not lose, jeez, he does that each match, no?

Yes, I didn't expect much from this match, but I do expect well paid kids to put a shift in.

CP must have a discussion with Mr Hoyle to make sure his position is safe. CP then needs to set the team up to win, not just to compete. That comment he made sounded so woeful!

Now then, the numpty is back against Reading, hopefully he stays on the pitch longer than a quarter of an hour and manages to score. I've nothing against Miller, but he is not a striker. Roll on January, hopefully Town are not in a relegation battle by then and Mr Hoyle buys a decent partner for Wells.

I said the very same, going to compete.. Atrocious think to say.

I agree to some extent that fans can make their feelings known, but to the extent of totally destroying a player? Miller was in pieces when he was subbed and the reaction from the fans will have totally destroyed any confidence he had.

Powell is also to blame, he should have subbed him at half time and protected him from that very reaction. I obviously see it differently to others but I just felt so sorry for him. It's not his fault he keeps getting picked to play the lone striker role, something that is beyond him, it's Powell's.

Am I turning against Powell? Maybe.

Sick and tired of it all today.

Apparently Lolley and Wallace have both been recalled.

Good, both should be given an opportunity to play matches to see where they are in terms of form. Giving players the chance to shine could improve the teams performances. However, CP must change tactics too and be more attack minded in their play.

No doubt we'll go to Reading to " try & compete "

No Powell. Go to Reading & try to win... like the last 2 seasons...

Am I on some kind of drugs, or is there a thread above this one from 2011?

If not, where has it come from? Sad news about the young rugby šŸ‰ ref though.
