I hear GFH are hanging on to make money. Don't they get a few million if we go up?

Total rat bags!

Not everyone in here uses Twitter.

I'll shut up then and let others report things.

Bye for now.

I'm grateful to everyone who passes on information. I'm trying not to get my hopes up though. Too many false dawns and disappointments.
GFH are beneath contempt and hopefully won't cause any problems if MC really is genuine about selling up.

I'd be delighted to see LFU with a place on the board. Ideally, we could have them holding that 23% that GFH seem to be stuck onto and then keeping it just as a constant.

-----------------------------

It has been a pretty well known fact for a long while that GFH are wanting to be silent partners and wait for a return on their investment.

The issue is Cellino has no say on the sale of that 23% owned by GFH. LFU are being offered Cellino's share and they would be foolish not to take him up on that offer whilst it is available, as GFH's share, whilst was the original plan, may not become available anytime soon.

There's a drag-along clause which means GFH would have to sell in the right circumstances:
__________

"Drag-Along

Provided that ESL has first complied with the ROFO provisions or 85% of the shareholders so approve, if
ESL and its permitted assignees sell all of their shares in the Company (currently 75%) to a third party
purchaser for cash, they can require the other shareholders to sell their shares to that third party purchaser
on the same terms (with the only warranties or indemnities relating to title to the shares being transferred)
provided that (i) each of the GFH Parties receives a minimum price equal to the higher of its pro rata
share of either Fair Market Value (as defined below) or the current £35m valuation, and (ii) with all
outstanding consideration (including the Short Term and Long Term Loans under the SPA being
accelerated and paid to GFH on completion of the relevant transfer)."

I didnt mean to be offensive but the most frustrating aspect of being a supporter of this great club is false hope.

The only thing left for the fans is hope. To listen to someone on a forum stating he has supposed inside information but simply cannot reveal any source is in itself frustrating. Nothing particularly about what you have said since the back end of the season has come true yet.

Point taken Kebab - oh and I actually do have big ears

As for not being able to disclose - I'm as frustrated as you on that. I got info the other day about what is actually needed money wise to take the club up and the worry is the amount of money any new owner has to be prepared to lose in order to achieve it.

I'll refrain from saying anything else on the matter until it/if comes out.

I'll just say this - if it happens I think a majority of fans will be happy. If LFU can get in on the act then even better as I would liike a voice on the board.

Sorry Stoopo, but there was nothing better this weekend than Mourinho's face after Benteke scored.
