I was at the Southwark Crown court earlier today. I heard about this Cairns match fixing case there.
My question is, what Brtish courts got to do with a Kiwi allegedly committed crime in India? I Thought we left India 60 years ago
Has Anyone got any clues?

I think this stems from previous case here...Cairns has pleaded not guilty to a perjury charge stemming from a 2012 libel trial in uk over alleged match-fixing.
Surprised there's been no mention of this on here.. You can guarantee that if it was a pak Indian player, some folks would have been all over it.

Thank you.
Still, as CPS don't have any other local cases to take it court? I bet this proves nothing and everyone goes
Scot free after lengthy deliberation.
What a Waste of money.

Yes, Raptit! How may I assist you today?
CPS can't even take care of their laptops let alone trying to impose the law and order on the entire world
