Notts Florest v Derby County - Match Thread

It's time.

What an occasion to make my long-awaited return to the forum! Sorry for my extensive absence, I've just been so snowed under with work and not had time for silly foolish match thread nonsense

Match thread going on early as me and me old dad will be venturing gingerly down to the dark side of the A52 on Friday night to witness what will hopefully turn out to be a resounding victory.... but who knows? As we all know so well, form goes out of the window on matches like this and Forest could turn up, having been in disarray, and win 2-1 with 10 men or something

Derby are without Forsyth going into the match due to a knee injury, so we'll be missing his pace and general sort of brilliance We seem to be on top form at the moment as a team, albeit with a few moments of weak football that always threaten our lead in games, so lets hope for a consistently strong and solid performance

Forest are at the moment only four points above the relegation zone having won 3 points from the last 21 and are in relative disarray after a winless run... so despite Mr Freedman stating he feels no pressure, things are looking pretty rocky over in the pits of Nottingham.

BUUUUUUUT.........

As before stated, form goes out of the window in these derbies, and we can't make any snap judgements on who'll emerge as the victor (cough cough, View needs to stop predicting 3-1 to the opponents for every match ).
