History repeated itself on Saturday against Coventry, here's hoping it doesn't against Burton - that 2-1 away defeat earlier this season - a perfectly good Posh equaliser disallowed right at the end of the game.
I'd like a 2-2 draw followed by a win in the replay at London Road.
Burton are a good side - a draw away would be good, a win excellent.
This is the only cup competition we are left in. 3rd round ties in January against Prem teams are something to look forward to.

If we win, I look forward to going on to the next round and then maybe a big money spinner against one of the big boys.

Tuning in from the Gower Peninsula. Great result. Guessing that the Albion had an off-day. Good to see Jermaine Anderson get his revenge, and to see Washington meet the challenge set to him by Graham Westley. For personal reasons, I d like to see Posh get Pompey at home in the next round - or Cambridge.

Definitely an off day but fair play to the Posh - played the conditions and the match situation much better than we did - keeping the ball on the ground when playing into the wind in the first half and protecting the lead whilst breaking with speed and precision after the break.
Thought the first goal was against the run of play but only one winner once it went in and if it wasn't for our keeper it would have been more than three.
Oh well. We'll concentrate on the league. Good luck to Posh for a kind draw in the second and a money spinner further down the line.

TF, hope we do meet you in the FAC (after slaying sCambridge U). Your lot are doing fantastically (for which Pearson has to take some credit).
As for my other team, they're in a false position
P.S. I'm starting to hate Crystal Palace. After dumping Posh out of the Championship (very fortuitously - for them), they have now become Liverpool's bogey team.

Oh well, Luton next in the FA Cup, before we face Leicester City in the 3rd Round (Thorney wishes).
A cracking 2nd Round tie, though - we're at home, and Luton are foes of old and will bring a good crowd.
