Manchester United are a massive institution

Thats all I learnt from yesterdays trip to watch David Beckham Unicef
Great Britain and Ireland XI vs Rest of the World XI charity match.

The operations for the Old Trafford stadium is massive. To be honest the security don't check properly. They barely checked.

Had a look at the shops inside and have to say they do charge a lot for merchandise. They also have a massive area for paying with tons of tills in one part before the exit

One other thing it was strange seeing Victoria Beckham a couple or so metres away from me. I think some of her kids where right behind me or it may have been some relatives. I think security guards where behind me to fend off people around with cameras.

I wish my phone lasted a bit longer so I could have recorded more of the game. Nevermind used most of the space anyway.

It was so strange watching it on match of the day as the angle was the opposite side of where I was watching it so it looked like they are showing the opposite end 1st half to how I saw it. I was dead leven with the line in the middle of the pitch as well.

One other point. The catering staff must really be busy. Had chips, some fish and tomato with Tartar sauce inside it. Finally had a desert in it was like a cheesecake and that was delicious and they had some caramelised/ was it vanilla or creamy type sauces on plate to make it taste even better. Had ice blocks on coca cola too.

BTW now I know why people leave early, to save themselves a few hours in traffic It took like 2 hours+ just to get past OT

One other thing the ball moves like it floats in the air which I don't usually witness on TV. Scholes passes are amazing, Beckham shooting and crossing are still amazing. Now I know what it looks to see him bend a ball with some whip in it.

Saw Rita Ora on opposite side and she was shaking her hair/head around. They said before the game that they are not sure if Rita Ora will make it before half time but she managed to.

Anyway from getting in to OT and the staff involved from outside OT to inside makes me realise how big the operation is at OT for it to go to plan.

One last note, love the boo's for Carragher and the fact nearly everytime Scholes got the ball close in he was urged to shoot.

Maybe the best part of the experience was it was raining or it turned dark and the floodlights turned on. Now I witessed the OT experience

BTW Collina had a poor game overall, SAF bought the ref with some brown envelopes but at least the linesmen got offside decisions right for 2 disallowed goals.

Scholes nearly capped it off with chip but hit crossbar.

I found my old phone with the footage today. I wonder if I should upload Rita Ora singing video.

I got a picture of the cheescake. Looks like Caramel at the bottom, I think it was Vanilla with some chocolate flaky toppings and some green leaves on top for show lol.

Got whole video of Rita Ora I will never let you down. Old Trafford had very bassy speakers.
