More great publicity!

We are fast becoming the laughing stock of the football world

Germany - personally I don't feel that Cellino has been sourcing players for some time now.

And I haven't heard too many people complain about the way they were treated apart from employees from the previous regime and Redfearn and his missus.

Rosler didn't say anything bad about him, nor Pearson, and Evans looks like he's being left to run things.

You read too much rubbish in the papers.

Sorry to upset you bud, but I don't read the bild zeitung!..

But thinking about it, the last time I saw anything about Leeds United in a zeitung over here was little snippets about them going into meltdown, they were once upon a time a lot in the zeitung and on the sports news when they were in Europe, but than, the German commentators used to praise them for being such a young and they said cheeky team, they said a lot of European teams didn't like the way they got in their faces and didn't roll over and die like some would!..

They said Leeds were a credit to football!..

But hey, it'll be a long time before they talk like that again about Leeds United, shame, because if things were done right it could all over the news here!..

You say Cellino hasn't been sourcing players, but that might be because he brought Pearson in to take care of that side of things, but, any that did come in had to have his backing!..

Rosler, odd one that, he seemed to think they were married, how upsetting that must be for him!..

And Redder's, said it often enough, if Cellino hadn't taken vacation and left him to do it his way we'd more than likely be on the div1 boards arguing about what could have been!..

If that had happened would we be having this discussion now?..

I've said up above, all he had to do was come in look at what player's he had and what he needed and it would have gone a lot better, he might not have got us up last year but he might have been oncourse to do it this!..

Don't forget, this year is his, so he said at the start of last!..

Do you agree with him when he extended it?..

Evans, he is now in the same boat as the four before him, but hey, he's doing exactly the same as the ones before him, he's doing what he's told!..

"You read too much rubbish in the papers."

The only reading I do is around here, and looking at matchday reports and the BBC web, but if I remember rightly, your right, there are some rubbish papers over there!..

Do you not think its gone a bit backwards since Pearson left, and to think, some had thought him and Rosler had settled the ship!..

Amazing what the mice will do when the cat does a runner!.

Say whatever you want about Cellino, I'll put him in the same bracket as Bates if that is at all possible, but don't fret, that is only my opinion!.

Germany, sorry, wasn't really saying that you personally read too much rubbish in the papers, it was more of a general statement.

Do I think things have gone backwards since Pearson left? No, not particularly. He was a good appoinrment and it would have been good if he'd stayed.
Since then we replaced Rosler with Evans, which I believe is a good thing.
Whoever's idea it was to buy Woods made a mistake and Evans has quickly figured that out and although he missed out on a striker he has added a decent defensive midfielder.

If Cellino's morals bother some people then fair enough, but for me his tax evasion and other indiscretions happened in a country where it is par for the course.

A lot of fans I speak to DO like him, but not how he is.
--------
They like him but not how he is....this makes absolutely no sense at all.

How exactly is Perth offering any support for Cellino?

"Many believe his heart is in the right place"

Only the people who desperately want him somehow to 'come good'.

This is what happens when you have a completely deceitful owner, people can't quite 100% believe he's bad, they want to believe he's ok, any slight sign is hyped up as an indication that he's ok.

Then you have the Perth's of this world who believe everything he says as gospel. Indeed you yourself VOF used to support what he said and ironically, for all your statements on here now, used to take the mick out of anyone who questioned, used to have your little gang trying to promote this cheery/dreary divide.

I'm afraid that attitudes like yours and Perth's are the reason we get stuck with owners like this.

Because you support them.

Because you try to shout down anyone who says there is a problem.

And because in the end you u turn without having the balls to put your hands up and properly say you got it wrong.

But maybe worst of all, is because when the next shyster comes along you will swallow all the bull again hook line and sinker and therefore perpetuate our status quo having learnt nothing from your past experience.

You have all the track record, all the evidence and all the lunatic actions and comments from Cellino that any sane minded individual, fans and commentators alike say that he is the problem at Leeds.

Top say that he is not, to say that is is liked, when this is clearly not the case is not really offering an opinion, it's to be completely out of touch with what is going on.

It's not my fault that Perth is deluded.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The ad himinem arguments on here show the standard of debater, not the point they are debating.

"I like Cellino" ==> "You are dumb and stupid and deluded" * 25

This is the problem and this is exactly what Perth is saying. This forum on this website is full of people who are very happy to moan and groan and to attack anyone that has an opinion different to theirs. That's fine for those who all believe the groaning - they will stay here and pat themselves on the back constantly and consistently at having attacked others with different opinions in a herd-like wolfpack manner.

What it doesn;t do is ensure that the full opinions and issues are raised because people choose not to bother either coming back here because the place is full of neanderthal eejits, or they won't comment on certain issues.

There's another pack of people that are silencing others at the moment out in the Middle East, and there have been examples of it in history in East Germany, Russia, USA etc.

Suffice to say it's not the most intelligent people who act like this, but as a group, they pack a punch. Like an EDL or BNP rally. A small group that comes together and makes a big noise but no-one takes their views seriously, merely are wary of the danger they pose when you are in close vicinity.

Makes no odds to me. I can be anti Cellino all I like, and I can confidently believe that I am "right", but it is still only my opinion

Saying you like someone is not debating!

Anyway I've not seen that at all. What I have seen on here is people who are prepared to back Cellino as long as he gets the team promoted. They are quite prepared to accept he's a convicted criminal, he sacks staff at a whim and treats employees and other businesses like crap!

Then there are those who think he is doing a good job with the finances and the playing staff!

I think I'm quite within my rights to call anyone who thinks that "deluded" - and that can be debated if you wish

I'm not commenting on your opinion - you and I and anyone can have any we wish. Your desire to call people "deluded" because they have an opinion different to yours and possibly look at things differently and consider other issues (whatever their arguments for them) is the problem for this forum

Perth, I think the best time we've had under Cellino was when Pearson was there, he was the adviser Cellino should have brought in with him from day one!..

Without Pearson Cellino is back to square one, ie, back to where he was when he didn't have the people he needed in place!..

The worst thing he could do he did, he came in and made it known to the English game that he couldn't give a toss about what people think off him and what he thinks about athourity!..

He's had in his short time here more run ins with the FL then most chairmen have in their footballing careers, and it don't look like he's finished!..

Outside the club he's a law to himself!..

Your last bit puts that one in the limelight, because while he's crapping athourity about, he's doing it in Leeds United's name!..

And inside the club, well, I wonder how safe Evans is feeling day by day!..

There's a pack mentality on this thread which is pretty pathetic, and school playground stuff at best.

Perth has a different view and has stuck by his guns and maintained his viewpoint. Whether he be right or wrong that doesn't display a lack of intelligence or any other pathetic attack you want to mount, it's an opposing viewpoint on a supposedly debating forum.

Rather hyproctical comments coming from the person who used to be one of the most divisive on here trying to suck up to eric and take the mickey out of others who expressed concern about Cellino.
