Has there ever been a better attacking trio than Neymar-Messi-Suárez in the sort of form they're in at the moment?
Not just because all three are easily 40-goal-a-season players, but also because of their mesmerising array of skills. Anyone catch Neymar's ball control in the build-up to Barça's 5th tonight?

Quite honestly can't think of a better tridente in my lifetime.
Best front three ever?

pulled off the clean sheet at the nou camp and should have had at least two stonewall pens before Iniesta scored. Not sure whats controversial there

Yeah Chelsea should have been in that final in 09. Ref mugged them off by not giving them like three pens as well.

Rivaldo's hat-trick vs Valencia in 2001 lives long in the memory though.
________
Up there as one of the best ever.
I also haven't forgotten the hat-trick he scored at the Bernabéu, only to have the third one wrongly ruled out in the dying minutes of the game. Crucial goal too. Brça were struggling in the league and badly needed the win to haul themselves back into contention, but the ref ruled it out and it finished 2-2.
Massive hand for us, but I've never liked the idea of gaining points on refereeing mistakes.
Blarmy, on that subject, I'd agree that Chelsea drew the short straw of the refereeing decisions, but I don't think it was as bad as has been made out if you bear in mind it was a 180-minute tie. Over at the Camp Nou, Barça had been denied a clear peno, while Ballack kicked lumps out of Barça and should never have finished that game, let alone played the home leg. Never as bad as Ovrebo's performance at the Bridge, but deffo gave Chelsea the rub of the green. The media in Barcelona were quite upset about the whole thing, but I'd imagine the British press would've glossed it over.
That said though, credit to you for saying 2 stonewall penalties, it's probably right, and certainly more accurate than the 4 many people claim. The Abidal sending off looked controversial, but I think he himself later admitted he had clipped the Chelsea player (don't remember who).
Imo, ultimately Chelsea's undoing imho was your failure to make the man advantage count, push for a second goal or at least try to control possession more rather than sit back on the edge of your box for half an hour.

With a team that was so much worse
My point really was that side could do a job and it was no reflection on Utd's great team in 08 that they didnt blow us away easily in the final

Fair points
2012 must have tasted so sweet.

You should pick a different team to support then.
