GRRRRRRRRRR it makes my blood boil
If used properly its great but clubs really take the pee
Chelsea and Arsenal have players at West Ham which means that WHU have a greater chance of taking points off of their rivals but WHU cannot play the against their parent clubs.....TBH loans should be allowed for players under , say 22 and only to teams in different divisions
Teams like Chelsea , Arsenal and Spurs sweep up all the best young talent with no intention of playing them and will be sending them straight out on loan
Let ne make this clear , this is about a system which all clubs use and all clubs look for loopholes , its not about the clubs themselves
The whole system needs overhauling it just stinks
The loan system

If I gave another 30 examples they wouldn't be examples.
I think you are confused between players out on loan and youth kids

Yeah Groovy, but instead of reserves call them B teams that all start in league 2. It could be completely the choice of any club in the EPL to have create a B team. Worked wonders in Spain for youth development, when implemented with a philosophy of technical ability!

So if all 20 premier league clubs entered league 2 would 20 league 2 teams be booted out of the football league? Once you drop out of the football league you lose you FA funding for development, so their youth teams and academies may well close.

I reckon we should follow the Spanish route of B'teams. Which will help aid youth development. However for the more seasoned player over say 24, no more than 2 can be loaned out at any given period of a season.

Let's face it not all EPL clubs will have a he numbers or the will to take up the option initially. Make the championship, league one and two bigger by creating more promotion places the year before allows for the new rules to be brought in to effect- thus creating extra spots in league two.

17 of the premier league teams already have teams playing in the u21 premier league, so I would imagine they'd all join.
Thats roughly 6 more teams per division in the football league.
30 teams per league. 58 games per year! Not really manageable without kicking teams out of the football league to accomodate the premier league teams.

Never quite sure why the combination leagues were scrapped. With the large squads have now, it would make absolute sense to reinstate.

Chelsea are the worst. they have about 30 players out on loan
maybe if they brought some of them back they wouldn't be in a relegation scrap

If anyone is worried about the loan system look at Parma. They has over 100 players on loan with the intention of making money off of them in loan fees and transfers fees.
Did not serve them well!

If a rule that meant teams had to declare their squad for a B team pre-season. While u-2 players can't be put into the B squad outside of the Windows. I think you will find at least half the EPL clubs wouldn't have around the 60 odd players mark to declare each season for all three squads! As I said it works a treat in Spain.
