Does it even matter?

Yes I.know its not good enough and we should be doing better given group we're in.

But what is at stake in Germany? Our hopes of winning the CL? Hahaha More chance of Turkey n Russia declaring their love for each other than us getting anywhere near Bayern, barca etc.

If we get through (big if) we'll go no further than the 1/4's anyway. And I only say that because we still have 1st place in our own hands just.

City may well end up in 2nd now and their journey could end in last 16 again.

Arsenal may not even make it out of group but if they do you wouldn't bet on them going further than last 16.

Not even upset if we do go out. Not like we are contenders anyway. Not yet.

We should have got out of this group with something yo spare and we now may go out. However I won't be bothered same as when we went out under fergie as my expectations were much higher then.

If Manchester United has this mentally then we'll simply slip down to being a club just like Atletico or Porto or Inter, good clubs but not an elite club that us and the likes of Madrid, Barca, Bayern strive to be.

Why shouldnt we strive to be the best like they do?

No smaller club mentality please, we're Manchester United for god sake, we're not the best right now but let's not lose sight and hope of where we want to go.

I want us to 'try' and most importantly AIM to win the PL, the CL, the FA Cup, and everything else.

That's not delusion, that's a mentality, I'd hate it if our club has the OP's 'meh' mentality

We already have the mentality here with many saying 3rd or 2nd represents a good season. No it doesn't !
We need to be challenging for the title and winning a cup or two. If not at best it's an average season and given the turgid football played it will be very average !
Unless we win a cup or go close to winning q poor league I would go as far as saying get rid of him !

so you're miles off even after spending circa 250m on your team?

Most teams are miles off. Some have spent more than 250m.

Should not always matter for a club like ManU? Eamon Dunphy said tonight ManU is no longer a big club. You should be and at least have a run to last 16 or 8

Dunphy is an idiot if he said that.
What 'non' big club can get in 75000 for every game ?
And get colossal revenue from sponsorship with hundreds of business partners and pay some of the highest wages.

He said you were a big brand, but no longer had the team of a big club, like Bayern and Barca and also do not have the talent like them. He said that.

The only thing giggs will be setting up, is the deterioration of this club. The mN should be nowhere near the managers seat.
