Bridcutt - Loan Deal Back On!!

Bridcutt was a TA last night with Evan's, apparently they shook on a deal

Cardiff thought they had him

As its Leeds I'm sure this deal isn't anywhere near done

Still in desperate need off another GK, CB and striker

Missed out on Tony Watt from Charlton, he went to Cardiff.

I don't trek ember Bradley as a winger. I remember he got played at LB a lot in League 1.

I remember Bradley playing LB or LW - but mainly LW from memory. What I don't recall, until just before he left, was him playing in a central holding role - where he's since done well. He struggled out wide, tried his best but seldom produced anything and often looked hacked off.

Didn't have the pace or fitness for out wide. Same with Mowatt.

Not sure why you cant remember playing out wide

He played there a lot and the tatic was for the keeper to kick it out there because he has a good leap

From memory the keeper was Ankegren - kicking out wide to Johnson I'd argue was more luck than tactic/judgement ...... !!!! He was probably aiming for Jonny H or another midfielder in the centre most of the time ...............

BJ played the central mid position at Northampton.
That was his position. It's what got him noticed and why we signed him. It was a mistake to move him to
left mid. But, I seem to remember Delph and Jonny H
consecutively forced that. SG moved him to the left. He didn't play as a winger. Good, solid player for us. Went on to show how good he was.

Yeah Johnson was played out wide all the time for ages, it never worked and it was frustrating to watch.

Once he moved in to middle he was a completely different player

^^^might be the same with Mowatt^^^

We're trying to accommodate him, murphy and Cook in the same side, and he's the one being pushed out wide, in my view.

The reason Mowatt gets pushed out idea is because he's one of two moderately attacking players we have who are naturally left footed (to my knowledge)

As I recall, Johnson begged SG to play central and when the opportunity came he grabbed it with both hands. He had a decent turn of speed, and not easily pushed off the ball. Bates let him go as a free rather than offering him a decent contract.
