I don't think him returning was ever on the cards. Pesch got asked a question when it became apparent he could leave Northampton, Pesch gave an honest reply and suddenly that was being touted around as "Harrad could return to former club".
An agent I know told me to put money on him going to Bury late last night, so this was something that was being discussed the moment Ryan Lowe gave an indication he wanted to move to Sheffield. A good move for the player I think.
I see Matt Duke signed for Bradford for two years today. He'll be a good signing for them and I can see Parkinson taking them up the table pretty soon.
