that Jose wasn't actually sacked and that maybe he's just been put on gardening leave until the end of the season?

This would also explain why we're playing exactly as if Mourinho never left. He's most likely giving instructions to the players albeit through a middle man in the form of Hiddink?

To be honest, I reckon the only reason that RLC was subbed on so late was that Guus forgot to read the other side of the instruction sheet and Holland only managed to point it out to him that the paper was double-sided a minute from the end of the game.

terrible tactics, terrible subs, same old rubbish,
