Sheffield Utd V Peterborough

8th against 6th in their first game of 2016.

The Posh will be seeking to avenge their 3-1 home defeat earlier in the season. Sheffield looked very good then, but the Posh have improved and will prove more difficult opponents.

Hopefully, there will be a repeat of our superb win and display at Bramall Lane, last season.

We have to put away our chances or the Blades will do a Walsall and score against the run of play in the last ten minutes of Saturday's match.

A Happy New Year to everyone.

A wonderful win thanks to three wonderful goals - and no thanks to a ref in the pocket of the home team.

18-year-old Norwegian West Ham loanee, Martin Samuelsen, scored the pick of the bunch. A star in the making.

Davey, if we beat Preston next week, we may end up playing Chelsea in the next round of the FA Cup (although, watch out for Scunthorpe). That would be great, particularly as we have a very decent team and should not capitulate like we did the last time we played Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

A wonder start to 2016. Delighted for Washington and Baldwin (back from long-term injury - a class act).

Well, I've been at a wedding. But hopefully we've turned a corner, heading upwards

Davey, I was also at that match (unfortunately!). Whenever we play Premiership teams, we become seemingly star-struck and never play to our potential. I'm hoping, if the opportunity arises this year, that things will be different.

Peterborough United love being involved in a lot of goals don't they? Big win today for play off spot race.
