It would also possibly indicate we haven't spoken to him as why would he need to send a letter If he could say it in person?

Maybe he has said it in person and he agreed to put his ideas down on paper afterwards. More likely we would speak through his agent anyway.

I fell out of love with Jose months ago, and he turned on chelsea players imo.

He obviously has talent, and coulld beood at Utd.

He could well be good for Utd mate, however could Utd be good for him? I think not! Utd have become a huge project to get back to their best, for me Jose hasn't got the patience for a project.

If he's putting in an application at this time,I feel he must be desperate .
If Man U accept him ,with all the baggage involved ,and against the wishes of some of their most influential figures (Charlton etc), they must be pretty desperate also !.
