300k bid for Winnall

Evans says he thought it was a fair bid, and you won't be bidding again.
Also says there's been some insulting comments from our end, and bid was in confidence.
In other words you're not really interested and don't want to pay the correct fee.
And if a Club offered £500k for Cook, would you say , yes that's fine.
Feel for some of your fans, deserve better than how your club keeps being run.
Fans are the heartbeat, owners and managers come and go, and can never have the same passion for our clubs, that we do.

Rob, I like your thinking on striker. Yesterday showed how good Ant & Douk can be together. Especially when Cook's sitting behind them causing havoc.

Batty

For me he is at too inconsistent, and I just don't think he is good enough to be in a side pushing for promotion.

His inconsistency is too much a target for others

Matty, I'd agree last season and pre November this.

But, for me, he's been the most assured player (outside of Charlie) in the back 5, since then. I think Bellusci has great ball skills (his free kick yesterday) and works his behind off. He blocked a sure goal yesterday. Yes, he has a clanger in him. But, not as many as before.

Phil Hay said the other week that the dye is cast on Bellusci with a lot of fans, who can't see how well he's playing now, thanks to his sins of the past (paraphrasing). I think Hay is spot on. For me, he's
not the problem with our defending of late. IMO.

I'm not past giving him credit or changing my opinion, see Austin when it comes to that.

Bellusci needs to do more for me though

That's totally fair and a fair point.

I think I'm in the minority on this anyway.

Just on the striker I mentioned Batty when you look at yesterday's game and others like in first half vs Wednesday when Cook makes those driving runs to the edge of the box if he just had someone quick to play in it could add another dimension to our attacking play.

Jonty so we have had a few players in and a few gone,
-----
We've had over 20 in and already seen

Ajose
Sharp
Taylor
Cani
Adryan
Montenegro
Del fabro
benedicic
Montenegro
Ngoyi
Bianchi

Of the Cellino signings leave and now we have 3 more going.

These are cellinos signings and cellinos failures it's unsustainable to continually sign such a large number of players that aren't working out.

Add to that 5 CEO types and half a dozen managers etc it's a huge drain on finances.

It would be unsustainable to keep the players on who weren't working out. So we're doing the right thing shipping them out.
Added to that our cap on salaries and I think you'll find we're in a way better position as far as sustainability goes than we have been for years.

So let's get this straight, you think it;s sustainable in fact laudable to sign players, hardly play them, then ship them out a few months later, it having cost you a shed load of money in wages and/or fees.

Simple yes or no will do.

Since the initial influx of players that hasn't really been the case has it?
Which is what you're trying to make out.
