see when the truth comes out, managers get sacked...it's shocking the behaviour of our owners is shocking....imo everyone in football can see we that we should be challenging for premier league football, season in season out, indeed given the size of the club & it's supporters should be in the premier league, something very wrong at the club, & has been for years....cellino just compounds everything...

Best, completely agree re Redfearn, but there is a level of sycophantism from Evans that is nauseating and I'm afraid he has completely misled the fans.

Jonty, I'm pretty sure you said you preferred transfer actuvity in the summer and not January.
So you must be pleased that we didn't go for the rejects that are on offer, as you more or less put it.
But no, apparently now it's a bad thing.

Perth, what I have taken from Jonty's comments is that fans should be disappointed because Byram was sold, money was available and prem targets would be brought in.

Evan's words not Jonty's or mine.

Jonty has had a position of not favoring January signings for as many seasons as I have known him (quite a few).

never heard so much BS

Then why isn't Jonty saying it's just as well we didn't rush into any panic January signings?
He'd rather slag off Cellino and now Evans, that's why.

Evans clearly states that the player must be right for Leeds or they won't be signed, and that would include the fee snd salary involved. Not to waste Byram fee on overinflated panic buys.

Perth, one can lead the horse to water but one cannot make the student think.

Do you work in politics by any chance?

Just curious.

There's nothing difficult to understand about what I'm pointing out.
Whatever the circumstance Jonty twists into a negative even if it means contradicting himself.

Fact is, the salary we are prepared to pay, or the fee we are prepared to offer, did not meet expectations of whoever we were after. Depending on whether you're pro, anti or ambivalent towards Cellino this fact can be either painted as a positive or a negative.

Jonty never says anything positive about the club at all, ever.

I said something positive only last week.

Now, I would say you never talk sense, ever.....perhaps you can provide a link to prove me wrong (try and avoid the ones where you say we should sell Cook eh).

I must have missed that. What did you say that was positive?
