What Bamba lacks in reliability

he makes up for in honesty.

http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/latest-lufc-news/leeds-united-bamba-is-happy-to-stay-at-leeds-despite-rival-offers-1-7716835

“It’s a mixed feeling because at some point, when I was talking with my family, maybe they were saying it’s maybe best for me to move"

“When you see the other teams, the players they bring in, they’re getting stronger and stronger. When you look at ourselves, we haven’t done much."

He's a bit of a liability in defence, but hugely refreshing to hear a player talk with some honesty instead of everything being a tired cliche, you also get the feeling that he is a good influence behind the scenes.

Maybe the club should let Bamba do the interviews instead of Evans.

Bamba said: “The striker situation, personally I don’t think we need anybody, because Doukara is doing very well. Obviously Wood is injured, but when he is back he’ll give us a big lift, and then we’ve got Mirco [Antenucci]. Most of the time we play with one upfront, so if you add in another striker that’s doing more trouble in the dressing room, because of when you don’t play. So personally I don’t think we need another striker.”

Bamba disagreeing with evans...

Bamba and Douk are tight. I'm sure those lads hang out all the time. When Douk scores (or Bamba scores) they will run half the length of the pitch to celebrate together.
Can't blame Sol for having his pals back.

On the bright side, we get to see more of the Ant & Douk show.

Don, much as I hate to let you down, I shall have to pass and will leave that particular pleasure to Perth who has a much greater fascination with the male bottom than I judging by how far his nose is up Cellinos.

...he also lacks in leadership.
Since when does a captain of the club slate the owner for lack of investment? Is that in his job description?
It's up to Sol to roll up his sleeves and fire up the team, and say 'let's show them what we can do.'
It's his job to get the best out of the players we have, not bang on about the players we don't have. And as for honesty, Sol, how about casting that critical eye on your own motivation and performances? You are as responsible as anyone for shedding points this season. Not exctly inspiring for those around you, are you?
I am sick to the gills of the petty empire building and in-fighting that has plagued our club for years. It's about time we found a captain who leads by example. Someone who has made up their mind to do their best on and off the pitch. Strangely, Bellusci comes to mind. Zip it or step aside, Sol.
